About
I stay longer than most photographers.
I grew up in a darkroom my father built in a Lisbon laundry room, and I still believe a good photograph is mostly patience.
After a decade shooting for magazines and architecture studios, I went independent in 2019. Today I split my year between long-form landscape projects, portrait commissions and a handful of editorial assignments. I work with a small kit, shoot mostly in the hour either side of sunrise and sunset, and edit every frame myself. Clients get fewer images than they expect, and better ones.
